This project is a reinvention of the lap desk. My design allows for a more portability and the ability to clean it with more efficiency. It comes apart from the top and bottom halves as well as the straps that they them together.
This particular model is done with 4 ply chipboard, but I created renditions with it’s expected materials.
This simple design encompasses the basic needs of someone who needs to constantly move around to work. Being able to take apart the entire product allows for both one surface and multiple surfaces to work on. It also can be easily cleaned and sanitized because sanitation is important.
